The Easy Cross range has now been expanded to incorporate different crafts. With the addition of this module the Easy Cross program can be used to create
Blackwork, Punched Card, Hardanger, Long Stitch and Needlepoint designs and use beads.

Fill Style Library - User expandable fill library with 400 fill styles
Layers - Layering which helps to distinguish between areas of backstitch
Fix Layers - The layers can be “fixed” which will prevent any changes from happening to the stitches
Layers in Colours - The different layers can be shown or printed in their original colours or change the colour to make it stand out on the printout, without affecting the colours in the design
Change Layer - Different areas can change layers, the areas can be selected by fill style, rectangular area or by user defined area
Overwrite a Fill Style - If you aren’t happy with the effect of a specific fill style, then just select another and refill the area
Fill Style Pad - Chosen styles can be added to the pad displayed on screen, to use any of these styles just click on it and it will be ready for filling
Colours Used - Select the colour to use for a specific fill style from the colour palette
Categorising Fill Styles - When selecting a fill style, display the patterns by density or size
Flip or Rotate Styles - When selecting a style, it can be flipped or rotated before filling an area
Stitched View - When displaying the design in the stitched view variegated and blended threads will give a more realistic view
Extra Fabric Charts - Evenweave fabric charts are included
Fill Styles - Print the library of fill styles
Varying Strands - The number of strands used of thin and thick backstitch can be altered as required independently of each other and of other stitches of the same type
Fill Style Editor - An editor which will allow changes to be made to existing styles by adding or deleting backstitch lines or new ones
Printing - The default for printing Blackwork is to have the grid colours set to faint but it can be altered as required
Draw Filled Shapes - By pressing the Control key down whilst placing a filled shape it will outline the shape with the current stitch type
Mix - Ability to add cross stitch to a blackwork design
Perforated Grid - Grid replaced with dots
Size - The size of the dots can be changed
Guide - Ability to print perforations to use as a guide
Templates - Templates include the dots which can be printed

Ability to remove areas of grid to show where the threads should be cut
Stitches can be shown mid grid
User expandable stitch library containing 24 stitches
Ability to scale stitch types when placing
Ability to add cross stitch to a hardanger design
Long Stitch
Stitch Types - Stitch types are Vertical, Horizontal, Diagonal and Anywhere Long Stitch. Each stitch type will be directional specific apart from Anywhere Long Stitch which can be used if you change direction a lot
Break and Join - Break and Join option will toggle between breaking and joining the stitches below the cursor depending on the state of the long stitch
Editing - An new editing feature means that when you go over an existing stitch it will be overwritten, this will split the stitch as required
Flood Fill - Flood Fill will fill using the selected stitch type (apart from the Anywhere Long Stitch)
Draw Filled Shapes - The selected shape will be drawn and filled in the current colour and long stitch type
Convert Image - It is possible to convert an image straight into Vertical, Horizontal, Forward Diagonal or Backward Diagonal Long Stitch
Simulation - Enables you to view the design as a long stitch simulation to get an idea what it will look like when stitched
Grid Lines - Stitches will be shown mid-grid on a double lined grid which will give a truer representation for the real thing
Stitch Colour - The colour of a single stitch can be changed without affecting other stitches of that colour
Change Stitch Type - Allows the stitch type in a selected area to be changed to another
Cross Stitch - Should you wish to convert an existing cross stitch design you will be able to select the required long stitch type and then the area to be converted. A new long stitch design will appear in front of you in long stitch
Stitch Display - Designs can be viewed as Stitches, Blocks and Black & White Symbols
