Converting Photographs to Cross Stitch

When the image is converted, the program will generate the relevant colour numbers and descriptions according to the thread chart selected and assign a symbol for each colour used. 

The following features are available in Easy Cross 2000, Easy Cross de luxe 2000 and Easy Cross Enterprise 2000

Direct Scanning

File Formats - Supports 72 file formats such as TIFF, BMP, JPEG & Kodak CD

Matching - As well as matching to a thread chart, it is possible to match to multiple charts and palettes.

Colours - Set the number of colours or let the program choose a sensible number and set colours which are important.

Flood Fill - Fills shades between selected colours.

Sizing - Set the conversion size in squares, inches or centimetres.

Backdrop - Convert an image into the backdrop so designing can be carried out on top.

Adjust Images - View the image before conversion and make any adjustments.

Dither Colours - Uses fewer colours for a shaded effect.

Randomise

Filter - Removal of lone stitches and set the distance apart from each other.

Decrease Colours - Ability to reduce the number of colours.

The following features are available in Easy Cross de luxe 2000 and Easy Cross Enterprise 2000

Convert Area - Ability to select an area of the image to convert, useful if the background of the photo isn’t wanted.

Blend Colours/Converting - Use blended threads to give a better choice when converting.

Backdrop - When converting an area of the image it is possible to have the image as a backdrop as well.

Spray Backdrop - When there is an image in the backdrop, spray backdrop stitches with a colour from the palette or by adding an appropriate one from the thread chart.

Reconvert - Go back and change the conversion settings through the Reconvert option, this will save time especially if the image was taken directly from the scanner.

Merge Conversions - Take two converted designs and merge bits from one to the other.
